2. A two litre calibrated polycarbonate container - a non-leaching material.

3. Central tamper - The tamper can be directed by you while the blender is operating to push around the food. The tamper prevents air bubbles from forming while blending, and maintains circulation. Use it when making frozen ice creams, pureeing fruit and vegetables, making nut butters and so on.

7. Thermostatic shut-off with audio-visual alarm - The blender features a thermostatic shutoff if the motor gets hot, but rather than switch off altogether leaving you unsure if the machines has broken, the operating power light flashes and an alarm sounds.

8. Wear-resistant plastic base - The base will not become brittle or discolored. The sturdy rubber feet will keep it steady and the rubber insulation between the jug and base will help prevent wear & tear due to any unnecessary vibration at high speeds.
